The multilayer PEX-Al-PEX AIR pipe belonging to the Multypexalfa line consists of 5 layers: the two PExb layers (inner and outer) are bonded to the aluminium intermediate layer by means of two stabilised polymer bonding layers. The aluminium layer provides an oxygen barrier, reduces linear thermal expansion effects and gives the tube dimensional stability and flexural strength. The internal material (PEXb) provides resistance to high temperatures under pressure while maintaining the potability characteristics of the water.
The insulating sleeve is made of polyethylene (PE-LD) with a white outer film (helps to identify the air conditioning pipe) made of scratch-resistant PE and is ideal for air conditioning, heating, sanitary, shipbuilding and industrial installations.
