The Venturi Injector with accessories is mainly used as a fertiliser pump. Based on the Venturi tube, it is maintenance-free as it has no moving parts. The Venturi injector does not require an external power source at the inlet; operation is by pressure difference between the inlet and outlet and the flow rate of fluid sucked in varies between models and depending on the inlet pressure/flow rate.
Our Venturi injectors have been designed to also introduce atmospheric air into the dripline during the irrigation phase. It has been widely demonstrated that sub-irrigation with air injection into the water flow, with the aim of aerating the root zone, improves the respiratory activity of the roots and favors the development of the soil microflora, thus optimizing the absorption of water and nutrients from the roots themselves.
